Green Lane Diary
Week Five
Week Five’s diary is all about wonderful water, which is great because 2013 is the International Year of Water Cooperation!

Do your students know the importance of water? Download this poster to help explain the water cycle to your class. If your students are aged between 6-10, encourage them to go online and test their water knowledge with this quiz.

We’re nearly halfway through this year’s Green Lane Diary program! Share your projects and stories with us and don’t forget to upload them on the photo map.

Get your students together for a fun, school-wide Leaky Tap Audit. Investigate how many taps and bubblers your school has and find out just how efficient they are. Then identify areas of the school which are wasting water and suggest ideas to improve the school’s water use.
